The Rafales would now be acquired by a separate process

The meetings of the Indian Negotiating team with the French side have commenced.”. A Negotiating Team has been constituted to negotiate the terms and conditions of the procurement of 36 Rafale jets and recommend a draft agreement. One key issue was the IAF seeking modifications on the Rafale so that a particular set of weapons could be integrated on it. After expressing the intention to acquire 36 French Rafale fighters, defence minister Manohar Parrikar had some months ago told Parliament that the earlier-issued Request for Proposal in 2007 for 126 Medium Multi-role Combat Aircraft had been "withdrawn”. Some say the cost could be made significantly lower by France after price negotiations earlier hit a roadblock. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while visiting France earlier this year, said India would acquire 36 Rafale MMRCA aircraft, citing the IAF’s operational necessity. The two leaders agreed to conclude an Inter-Governmental Agreement (IGA) for supply of the aircraft on terms that would be better than conveyed by Dassault Aviation as part of a separate process underway, the delivery would be in timeframe that would be compatible with the operational requirement of the IAF; and that the aircraft and associated systems and weapons would be delivered on the same configuration as had been tested and approved by the IAF, and with a longer maintenance responsibility by France. Some earlier reports had claimed the negotiations had run into rough weather over the "offset clause” and tweaking of weaponry technology, which was "driving up the cost”.In a detailed statement in China Fiberglass insulated ladder suppliers a written reply to Parliament, Mr Parrikar had said: "As per the India-France Joint Statement issued by the two countries during the Prime Minister’s visit to France, the Government of India conveyed to the Government of France that in view of the critical operational necessity for Multi-role Combat Aircraft for Indian Air Force (IAF), the Government of India would like to acquire (36) Rafale jets in flyaway condition as quickly as possible.

The Rafales would now be acquired by a separate process.Dassault, which manufactures the Rafale, had earlier been selected the lowest financial bidder in the MMRCA process, but as the protracted contract negotiations made no headway, India had decided — during Mr Modi’s visit to France — to acquire 36 Rafales by a separate process. While the Rafale fighter deal is expected to be signed with France during President Francois Hollande’s January visit to attend the Republic Day celebrations, where he has been invited as chief guest, While the Rafale fighter deal is expected to be signed with France during President Francois Hollande’s January visit to attend the Republic Day celebrations, where he has been invited as chief guest, the actual cost of the proposed deal still awaits direct contract negotiations between the Indian and French governments

The new offerings will enable AWS customers to develop and quickly

The new offerings will enable AWS customers to develop and quickly "train” their own artificial intelligence algorithms, build software applications capable of translating language on the fly, analyse video, and scan text for trends or key phrases.

Among Amazon’s AI announcements is Amazon SageMaker, which lets companies build and quickly train machine learning algorithms. Throughout 2017 both Microsoft and Google announced AI services that rival those unveiled this week by AWS.Already Apple, Facebook, Amazon and other top tech companies are developing and using AI for their own products, but the new offerings from AWS could make it easier and more affordable for startups and less tech-savvy enterprises to implement AI technology. Machine learning (ML) is a subset of AI in which sophisticated computer algorithms are developed to recognize patterns in large volumes of data to solve problems on their own. Amazon this week announced a flurry of new machine learning features for its Amazon Web Services cloud computing business, raising its challenge to Silicon Valley’s biggest tech firms for the lead in artificial intelligence. And Google Cloud Platform introduced the Google Natural Language API, a rival to the new Amazon Comprehend, last November.Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to machines carrying out tasks that are normally associated with human intelligence. The product announcements made at AWS’s annual conference in Las Vegas, cap off a year in which Amazon released 1,300 new AWS features, up from a little more than 1,000 in 2016.Among Amazon’s AI announcements is Amazon SageMaker, which lets companies build and quickly train machine learning algorithms.Microsoft, for example, offered Translator, a direct competitor to the new Amazon Translate, as far back as 2011, Microsoft said.”

We expect the big three to conveyor belts Suppliers continue to play a game of leapfrog over the next several years as the enterprise moves from experimental to industrialisation of AI and machine learning," said Ken Corless, a principal in Deloitte Consulting’s cloud engineering practice.”Despite being the pioneer and dominant player in the cloud computing market, AWS is playing catch-up to chief rivals Microsoft and Alphabet’s Google when it comes to new AI offerings, several of which will not be generally available until sometime in 2018. For example, with two of the new AWS features a company could quickly transcribe customer phone calls and then analyse the text for customer sentiment. ”Given their market share, AWS’s announcements are significant as they are signalling to the market that they will not cede this space to Microsoft or Google.

As always, Amazon is making it easier for companies to get started using new technologies,” said Mikhail Naumov, co-founder of DigitalGenius, a London-based customer service startup that uses AI. It also announced Amazon Rekognition Video, which uses AI to detect objects and faces in customers’ video content; Amazon Transcribe, which turns audio into text; Amazon Translate, which translates text; and Amazon Comprehend, which analyses text for sentiment and key phrases. "Now they are making it easier for companies of all sizes to leverage powerful ML tools in their business. The new offerings will enable AWS customers to develop and quickly "train” their own artificial intelligence algorithms.”."If Amazon can offer products that are just good enough, it can use its leading position,” said Chris Nicholson, CEO of Skymind, a San Francisco startup that provides AI solutions for enterprises

It then analyses it against an emotions database to predict what emotion

The scope is endless. It then analyses it against an emotions database to predict what emotion is being expressed.SmellAI researchers are in the process of manufacturing AI tools that will be able to detect types of illnesses by merely smelling a person’s breath. As of now, SummarizeBot can be used in Facebook Messenger or Slack and it makes use of natural language processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. There are plenty of incredible ways machine vision is used today and it includes self-driving cars, facial recognition, China composite film liquid flexible packaging machines Factory payments and more.Understand emotionsThere are AI tools out there that can track a person’s emotions as they watch videos.

There are also robots in Japan that can generate motion autonomously. Here are 14 incredible things that AI can do right now. This AI can not only research a subject; but also generate an interesting point of view and generate rebuttals against a human opponent. This is done using sensors and cameras and the inventor states that it will one day be able to pick up one raspberry every 10 seconds for 20 hours per day. This is by far one of the most incredible things that AI can do when it merely hears and is able to understand sounds. This was done by using ECG results to sort historical patient data into groups based on who would die within the span of a year.Imagine if these 14 incredible AI skills were all combined into a single super artificial intelligence.WriteIt may come as a surprise to you that alongside professional journalists, news outlets such as The New York Times, Washington Post and Reuters also rely on AI to write.

That’s why it should come as a little surprise when big tech companies such as Facebook and Elon Musk have their own projects that are ongoing to make the most of AI’s mind-reading potential. It can also respond precisely to responses made by humans it is speaking to as well.MoveThis shouldn’t come as a surprise to most since AI oversees all types of movements from autonomous vehicles to drones. Also, en entire novel has been written by AI that was also short-listed for an award.GameAI has also been taught how to play games such as poker and chess. AI can make visual art, write poetry, compose music and even take pictures.” Also, AI bots are able to identify gas leaks or other caustic chemicals. While Siri, Alexa and others can respond to queries and provide you with directions, Google Duplex goes that mile extra and uses AI to schedule your appointments and complete tasks in a very conversational manner. And some of cases, the artificial intelligence is so good that it can compete with humans and beat them as well. Forbes writes, "It can detect chemicals called aldehydes that are associated with human illnesses and stress, including cancer, diabetes, brain injuries, and detecting the "woody, musky odor" emitted from Parkinson's disease even before any other symptoms are identified.Hearing and understandingAI can also detect gun shots by analysing the sound and alerting relevant agencies. In manufacturing, machine vision is widely used to help in predictive maintenance and product quality control. AI growth — scary or exciting?

You decide. However, a lot of us would be rather surprised to learn of some of the tasks that AI already knows how to undertake.Read a person’s mindThis is truly amazing and the length AI has come is a testament to this point. Also, business professionals absolutely love the convenience, efficiency and accuracy that is provided by AI through automated meeting minutes. Apart from many "who, what, where, when, and how" formulaic pieces, Artificial Intelligence is capable to expand beyond this sphere to more creative writing pieces as well. IBM is even using AI to produce new perfumes. Reports claim that the next step for AI tactility is to link touch with other sensors. Interestingly many marketers are seeking AI to formulate social media posts. As of now, most are aware that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a present part of our daily lives. But one thing is for sure, this is all pretty incredible.Predict deathResearchers have found a black-box algorithm which helped in predicting patient’s death better than humans. It then determines an action based on this information.

Artificial Emotional Intelligence works by gathering data from an individual’s facial expressions, body language, and more.DebateIBM Project Debater has proven that AI can even be a great success at debating humans on complex topics. AI can interpret brain signals and create speech. From seeing to predicting when you are going to die, these are 14 things that AI is capable of doing right now.TouchUsing AI, there is now a robot that can identify the ripeness of fruit and even place them in a basket. This is absolutely amazing for those with speech impairments.SpeakBelieve it or now, but AI can also speak..CreateOver the last few years, AI has grown so rapidly that it can now create on its own and the processes are endless. Also, in day-to-day life, in more practical terms, we have our voice assistants on our phones that respond to our queries whether it may be as simple as asking about the weather or the day’s agenda.

SeeWhile it cannot see how humans do, AI can be used as machine vision to ‘see’ the world, analyse visual data, and make informative decisions about what has been seen.ReadBe it news articles, books, weblinks and more, SummarizeBot can make automatic text summarizations using AI and machine learning that not just reads communications but also report back the most essential information. Google’s AI was even able to create its own AI child that was able to outperform human counterparts. Scary or exciting? This is up to you to judge

China automatic liquid soft packaging machines Suppliers The MRI machine at Nair has been shut. "Patients admitted in municipal hospitals are always given priority for MRI tests, whereas outside patients have to wait for two to three months for getting the tests done.

According to sources, patients on the emergency at Nair Hospital are now being diverted to other municipal hospitals – mainly KEM and Sion Hospital. The restoration of MRI machine at Nair hospital is going on, and it will be in operation soon, he added. Due to the closure of MRI machine at Nair Hospital, the waiting list for outside patients is likely to increase further,” said an official. There are six BMC hospitals – KEM, Nair, Sion, Cooper, Kandivali Shatabdi and Govandi Shatabdi – which have MRI test facility.Following the mishap at Nair, the MRI test facility is now available at only five civic hospitals.

The restoration of MRI machine at Nair hospital is going on, and it will be in operation soon, he added. Mumbai: With the MRI machine at Nair Hospital being shut after the mishap, patients have been diverted to other municipal hospitals resulting in a rise in the number of people, who are on waiting list for MRI tests.

This has resulted in increased pressure at these hospitals for MRI tests. Every day, about 35 MRI tests are carried out at the civic hospitals. Due to the cheaper rates, municipal hospitals are always preferred by patients for MRI tests. On Saturday evening, Rajesh Maru, after getting sucked into an MRI machine, had inhaled the liquid oxygen, due to which he died on the spot. Following the incident, the machine has not been in operation and is likely to remain shut for few more days. They are carried at only Rs 2,500 at civic hospitals as against the charges of Rs 7000-12,000 at private hospitals

This monitoring component has an almost identical

Deeper investigation revealed something of a flawed gem, ultimately designed to steal magnetic stripe payment card data: a hallmark of PoS malware.DNS Comms & Post Setup FunctionalityAfter the initial HTTP request to determine its external IP address, the monitor component appears to communicate exclusively via fake DNS requests, all of which follow the format{Machine ID}.Initialisation & EvasionAfter initialisation, including after reboots, the monitor component performs a DNS query on the embedded C2 address and retrieves the external IP address of the infected machine via an HTTP GET request:{C2URL}/index.jpg by the infobat. Visibility is always an issue when it comes to non-traditional malware: samples which do not target standard endpoints or servers can quite easily be missed because of the lack of focus on protecting these sorts of systems. From a consumer standpoint, protecting oneself against this sort of threat can be a tricky proposition for individuals: a PoS terminal could conceivably remain infected for significant lengths of time.22.exe’ and ‘logmeinumon.Design Decisions and Detection RateThe coding style and techniques seen within the malware can hardly be described as outstanding. It&packing machines Factory39;s compiled by the same Visual Studio build and uses the same string encoding technique: both executables contain only a few identifiable plain-text strings, and instead use a basic encryption and encoding method to hide strings such as the C2 server, filenames, and hard-coded process names. There have been several Point of Sale malware families identified over the past few years, all with the same goal: harvesting credit card data on a large scale – consider how many different cards may be used in stores, bars, or restaurants across the course of a day, let alone weeks or months.22.exe’.

This monitoring component has an almost identical structure to the service component. For the anti-AV and anti-VM solution, there are four DLL and three Named Pipe identifiers stored in both service and monitor components:However, only the monitor component makes use of these and, moreover, the code responsible for opening module handles is flawed: it will only try to open cmdvrt32.bat’ which is similar in structure to the one examined for the service component. For many businesses, the situation may not be much better: legacy PoS systems are often based on variations of the Windows XP kernel and, in large retailers, may be present on hundreds or even thousands of devices.dat'.All five message types are logged to the {Machine ID}.TimelinesAs the underlying intent of the malware became clear to, Forcepoint attempted to identify further samples from the same family to determine whether this was something new (and possibly still being tested before deployment) or part of an ongoing campaign.A Set of Two — Service & MonitorBehavioural analysis of the initial sample Forcepoint discovered, a file named logmeinumon.ConclusionDiscovering a unique piece of malware is a rare event these days and UDPoS, while unusual, is not a new concept.dat and saves a hash of the 'trp' message to udwupd.dll – a library related to Comodo security products – and nothing else.001. This data is written to a local file called ‘PCi.001.Point of Sale malware has been around for some time and has been deployed against a broad range of businesses from retailers to hotel groups.exe’.Note: Forcepoint has been in contact with LogMeIn throughout this investigation to help determine whether their services or products may have been abused as part of the malware deployment process. It does this via a batch file with a semi-random filename embedding standard Windows commands for file and service operations.001.22.115. However, enabling reporting on your credit card activity (many banks offer SMS, Push, and email alerts) can greatly reduce the time of discovery – and therefore recovery – if abuse does occur. It is unclear at present whether this is a reflection of the malware still being in a relatively early stage of development/testing or a straightforward error on the part of the developers. Forcepoint Labs has discovered a new piece of POS malware.dat’ in the same directory where the executables are deployed. These efforts revealed another service component, but unfortunately not the corresponding monitor nor the parent 7-Zip SFX archive.bat process, while ‘ping’ is a heartbeat message sent to the C2 every 60 minutes. Whether this is a sign that authors of the malware were not successful in deploying it at first or whether these are two different campaigns cannot be fully determined at this time due to the lack of additional executables.'Info' messages - as its name suggests - are purely informational and are despatched alongside 'ping' messages:{PCNAME}; {USERNAME}; [NS:IP {C2URL}:{C2IP}]The 'note' and 'trp' message types required further analysis and relate to the core functionality of the malware.. These sorts of malware generally make up the majority of incoming malicious samples and are, from a researcher's standpoint, typically not very interesting.jpg’ and sent to the C2 server via DNS. This randomly generated identifier is used as {Machine ID} in all of the DNS queries detailed below.dat file prior to transmission.php/?udpool={Machine ID}The first time the malware is run, it also generates a batch file called ‘infobat.Evasive ManoeuvresDespite maintaining a small footprint – only 88kb in size – the monitor component is a multi-threaded application which creates five different threads after its initialisation code is completed.115. These processes are checked against an embedded and pre-defined blacklist of common system process and browser names with only ones not present on the list being scanned.{Message Type}. In the current era of mass malware it's becoming increasingly rare to find something beyond the ‘usual suspects’ Forcepoint sees being spread by high-profile botnets on a regular basis: Dridex spread by Necurs, the ever-increasing number of ransomware families, cryptocurrency miners, credential stealers… the list goes on.xxxxwhere {Machine ID} is always 15 characters long, {Message Type} is taken from a set of pre-defined strings, and the actual message components "xxxx" can vary in length, but never exceed 31 characters. No evidence of this was found and it appears that the use of LogMeIn-themed filenames and C2 domain by the actors behind the malware is a simple ‘camouflage’ technique.xxxx.xxxx.dat, the number of total processes with successful extraction to hdwid. The overall impression is of a piece of malware inspired by the success of (and some of the better ideas and techniques employed by) its predecessors.‘LogmeinServicePackLogmeinServicePack_5.exe – which Forcepoint has called the service component – is responsible for setting up the malware by placing files into the System32LogMeInUpdService directory and creating a new system service for persistence. Once finished it passes over execution to the monitoring component by launching ‘logmeinumon. The malware steals card details, specifically magnetic strip data so likely more targeted in countries where chip and pin is prevalent. As UDPoS highlights, exfiltrating stolen credit card data can and will result in unusual patterns of activity on the machines (DNS traffic in this case). However, in amongst the digital haystack there exists the occasional needle: Forcepoint recently came across a sample apparently disguised as a LogMeIn service pack which generated notable amounts of 'unusual' DNS requests. Investigating the functionality spread across the additional threads revealed a process designed to collect Track 1 and Track 2 payment card data by scraping the memory of running processes. Interestingly, this second service component was named ‘Intel Upgrade Services’ and apparently intended to masquerade as an Intel update as opposed to a LogMeIn update. This file is a 7-Zip self-extracting archive containing ‘LogmeinServicePack_5.On the other hand, DNS-based communication and data exfiltration is genuinely unusual – although not unique – and can be quite effective.115.If Track 1/2 data is found in memory it will be extracted as is, converted to and sent as a 'trp' message. By identifying and reacting to these patterns, businesses – both PoS terminal owners and suppliers - can close down this sort of attack sooner.xxxx.The ‘bin’ messages are used to transmit the initial burst of data gathered into PCi.Forcepoint’s analysis identified five possible values for the {Message Type} field: bin, info, ping, trp, and note. Beyond the faulty evasion code noted above, using data files written to disk instead of working predominantly in memory – besides leaving unnecessary trails – is rarely the trademark of bleeding edge malware and, equally, there are more advanced ways of fingerprinting a PC and generating a report.kdl, presumably for the purpose of keeping track of what's already been submitted to the C2 server. Again, this file uses a number of standard Windows commands to create a comprehensive fingerprint of the infected machine containing network, system, route, and process related information.Based on the compilation dates of the executables, the Intel-themed sample was created about two weeks prior to the LogMeIn one.Whether this is intended for use later for lateral movement is unclear, but this information alone would be sufficient to treat this executable as malicious: the network map, list of running processes and list of installed security updates is highly valuable information. However, this appears to be a new family which Forcepoint is currently calling 'UDPoS' owing to its heavy use of UDP-based DNS traffic. A 'note' message will be also generated and transmitted with the following content:[IP: (redacted)] - String found in: processname. Nearly all companies have firewalls and other protections in place to monitor and filter TCP- and UDP-based communications, however DNS is still often treated differently providing a golden opportunity to leak data.exe, its content is extracted to the %TEMP% directory and ‘LogmeinServicePack_5.exe’ automatically launched using 7-Zip's built in RunProgram feature. At the time of writing, it's unclear whether the malware is currently being used in campaigns in the wild, although the coordinated use of LogMeIn-themed filenames and C2 URLs, coupled with evidence of an earlier Intel-themed variant, suggest that it may well be. While Windows POSReady is in extended support until January 2019, it is still fundamentally an operating system which is # seventeen years old this year.Upon executing update. Details of these files are in the table below. This initialisation code is mainly responsible for decrypting and decoding the malware's internal strings, attempting to carry out an anti-AV/VM check, and either creating or loading an existing ‘Machine ID’ stored in a file called ‘hdwid.Investigation of the C2 revealed it also to be hosting the original dropper file, update.exe, showed it contacting a similarly LogMeIn-themed C2 server hosted by a Swiss-based VPS provider (details below - note the use of an ‘L’ rather than an ‘I’ in the spelling of logmeln).exe -The malware further logs this process name to a file called sinf. That said, the method used in this sample does appear to get the job done.Detection rates for the malware are still very low for the monitor component at the time of writing.exe. Carboxytherapy has been performed with a few clinical studies

Carboxytherapy has been performed with a few clinical studies, suggesting it may provide a lasting improvement in abdominal contours. The changes were modest and did not result in a long-term fat reduction. (Photo: Pixabay) Carboxytherapy, a technique of injecting carbon dioxide gas into one&automatic liquid soft packaging machines Manufacturers39;s body, can reduce fat around the stomach.According to the Northwestern Medicine study, the changes were modest and did not result in a long-term fat reduction.

Carboxytherapy could potentially be a new and effective means of fat reduction. It still needs to be optimised, though, so it's long-lasting," said lead author, Dr Murad Alam.Benefits of this non-invasive approach are diminished downtime, avoidance of scarring and perceived safety.Carboxytherapy has been performed with a few clinical studies, suggesting it may provide a lasting improvement in abdominal contours.

It is believed that injection of carbon dioxide causes changes in the microcirculation, and damages fat cells.Current technologies routinely used for this non-invasive fat reduction include cryolipolysis, high-intensity ultrasound, radiofrequency, chemical adipocytolysis and # laser-assisted fat reduction. The findings are published in Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

The government has indicated an auction route

Coal is the nation’s most important fuel source and 70 per cent of power generation in CIL comes from coal. India is the world’s fifth largest coal producer, and yet the country imports around 150 million tonnes of coal worth about Rs 1 lakh crores. The Narendra Modi Cabinet’s decision earlier this week to denationalise the coal industry is as historic as Indira Gandhi’s move to nationalise coal mining in 1973. But whether the present decision is worthwhile will depend, of course, on whether letting the private sector back lives up to its promise of raising efficiency in coal production, and enhancing productivity and production, at least to the extent of covering domestic demand, introduction of modern tech and injection of adequate private investment in a competitive climate.

When coal automatic liquid soft packaging machines Suppliers was entirely in private hands before 1973, the results were a sorry mess in terms of production and adequacy of investment, as well as keeping up with internationally available technologies, to say nothing of the deplorable conditions of life for workers in the mines concentrated in eastern India, as well as mines safety. Reports of that era make for shocking reading. In many respects, a sea change has been brought about as a consequence of nationalisation. Coal India Ltd is a public sector "navratna”. But there can be no gainsaying that inefficiencies that are typical of the public sector — for well-known reasons — plague coal mining as well. There can be no doubt that the situation must be fixed. The government has indicated an auction route for the acquiring of mines. It must ensure, however, that players taking part in the auction do not game the process by forming cartels. Moreover, with private players in, the government must have a strong regulator.

The regulator’s job must be not only to ensure fair competition, but also to facilitate the introduction of adequate levels of technologies in not just mining but also beneficiation (as the average Indian coal has around 45 per cent ash content, as against 25-30 per cent in the leading coal-producing countries), and the raising of efficiency. In the absence of these, bringing in private players would not have done much good.

In the end, the real test will be if we are able to eliminate imports of reasonable quality of coal. Private industry now is far more capable than it was some half a century ago. Its assets base is much stronger, it is more modern and better managed professionally. At present, the temptation to wholly privatise coal by closing down CIL must be avoided. People have been giving the machine a thumbs

The BMC has put up a one-of-its-kind feedback machine with three buttons depicting various emotions outside a China compound film filling machines Manufacturers toilet. An official demonstrates the feedback machine. (Photo: Debashish Dey) Mumbai: Soon, you will be able to express your like or dislike for a toilet facility provided by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Under the Swachh Bharat scheme, the BMC has put up a one-of-its-kind feedback machine with three buttons depicting various emotions outside a toilet at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) a week ago. The emoticons on the buttons are: happy, straight face and unhappy. After using the toilet, one can express the level of satisfaction by pressing the relevant button on the machine. The feedback thus collected will be then analysed by the BMC.According to senior BMC officials, the newly installed machine has been getting a positive response from the people, with 92 per cent having pressed the ‘happy’ button after using the facility.

People have been giving the machine a thumbs-up by registering their feedback after using the services of the public toilet. After collecting data from these machines, the BMC will improvise on the sanitation depending on the results,” said Vijay Balamwar, deputy municipal commissioner, BMC.He further said, "After the positive response, this initiative will be taken forward.” After successfully installing the sample machine, the BMC is planning to install a few more at other places.

The only viable robots are wheeled or tracked vehicles

HyQ2Max, the quadruped robot Robots that can venture into disaster zones in place of humans need to be tough enough to cope in hazardous environments.Key to HyQ2Max’s potential for real-world application is its ability to get back on its feet even when knocked completely over."Much like a cat or a goat that is very agile on rough terrain, this robot can in the future help in very unstructured environments, for example after an earthquake, after a tsunami or after a house has collapsed for other reasons; these kind of robots can be applied in an environment where the terrain is difficult and where you don’t want to send people,” explained Claudio Semini, who is leading the research. But designing quadruped automatons that are dynamic enough to cope with any scenario China aluminum Telescopic ladder manufacturers has proved problematic. While the robot is being designed with search and rescue missions in mind, Semini said that it could prove a useful tool for many industries.

So far, the only viable robots are wheeled or tracked vehicles but these cannot cope with many terrains and situations.Animal-like in posture and movement, HyQ2Max is an improved version of their hydraulic quadruped robot HyQ.. "So we want to put the robot down on the ground and see how it gets back up on its feet.Robots that can venture into disaster zones in place of humans need to be tough enough to cope in hazardous environments. HyQ2Max’s main designer was mechanical design engineer Jake Goldsmith who made its torso from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, with lightweight fiberglass and Kevlar covers protecting the onboard computer. In addition all sensitive parts like sensors, valves, actuators and electronics are protected inside the structure.

Step forward HyQ2Max — the latest and most powerful four-legged robot to come out of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). To protect itself while deployed in a structure damaged in an earthquake, for example, HyQ2Max is designed to be robust against the impact of falling objects. With its larger joint ranges and higher joint torques, HyQ2Max can right itself in a matter of seconds. So this can happen in reality when the robot, for example, slips or is somehow falling down for whatever reason; the robot needs to be able to get up again,” said Semini.Legged robots that mimic the robustness and versatility of animals could be a solution

A case under various sections of Pre Conception

After hearing arguments, magistrate S.U. Mahadar held that it may be his intention of not using. On the other hand prosecution contended that in view of provision of section 19(3) of the Act the accused was bound to renew the same and he had no other option.

Mumbai: A metropolitan magistrate court convicted a 70-year-old medical practitioner under the Pre Conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques, (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act 1994 and imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on him for not renewing registration of his ultrasound scanner machine.Though the prosecution had not claimed that accused misused the machine or have conducted any illegal act of sex-determination but the court held that as per the Act it is mandatory for the owner to renew the registration of machine even if it was not under use.

A case under various sections of Pre Conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act was registered against Ishwar Panc-hal at the instance of K-ea-st Ward through Dr Bhup-endra Patil when on Nove-mber 25, 2014 it was found that the certificate for ultr-asound scanner machine at Mr Panchal’s centre had expired earlier that month.Mr Panchal’s defence large capacity automatic filling machine detailss Factory lawyer had contended that the machine was not in use since November 4, 2014, the date when certificate expired, and it was not rene-wed as the accused didn’t have intention to use it.On the other hand prosecution contended that in view of provision of section 19(3) of the Act the accused was bound to renew the same and he had no other option. Therefore, fact that the machine was not in use cannot be considered. After hearing arguments, magistrate S.U. Mahadar held that it may be his intention of not using. However, it does not mean that he was exempted from renewal of registration.

What worked in their favour nearly 25 years

There is an unmistakable humour that runs through Machine; it begins right from the opening scene. A still from the movie Machine Rating: Cast: Kiara Advani, Ronit Roy, Mustafa Burmawala, Carla Dennis, Eshan ShankerDirector: Abbas-MustanVeteran filmmakers are most revered and looked up to, more so, if they have given us suspense-filled edge-of-the-seat thrillers in the past.

The duo Abbas-Mustan made us sit up and take note of their ability to spring surprises like Khiladi, Daraar, Humraaz and Soldier to name a few. But their grandest contribution has to be Baazigar — a film that catapulted Shah Rukh Khan to the unparalleled big lead. SRK’s character in the film turned the notion of protagonist on its head. Instead, it was the turn of the "anti-hero”, which then became a mainstream reality. There is an unmistakable humour that runs through Machine; it begins right from the opening scene. Imagine an opening frame that shows a camera aiming at an eardrum all along taking us through the maze of its insides.Soon a swanky college Woodstock in North India, seemingly near Shimla, exposes some of the brats (students).

If any of us has ever received a modicum of education in any institution, one may infer that schooling — as is it actually shown here — appears to be a travesty of education. From the automatic liquid soft packaging machines Factory way the students dress up to the way their classrooms are adorned with upscale furniture in the classrooms to the activities they all indulge in, it all looks fake and artificial. Not that we haven’t seen such false and distorted representation of facts earlier in Karan Johar’s or other Mumbai filmmakers’ cinema. Thereafter, many scenes from the director duos past films are reused to a pathetic finale. And that’s not all. Abbas-Mustan haven’t grown with time. They seem to be stuck in a time warp. And there are many areas where the director-producer duo seems to be trying to relive the earlier grand success of Baazigar and rehash it into Abbas’ son Mustafa Burmawala’s debut film.

What worked in their favour nearly 25 years ago was the freshness that Indian audiences lapped it up because of its hero getting depicted as a villain. At its core, Machine is the story of racing enthusiasts, who meet each other under mysterious circumstances. As their bond becomes stronger, love blossoms and soon they tie the knot. After falling in love Ransh’s (Mustafa) first job at hand seems to get two of his rivals out of the way. Soon, as the two (Ransh) and Sarah (Kiara Advani) get married, they don’t take long to allow their passion to overpower them.He also must win over Sarah’s father (Ronit Roy) and prove that he is the best son-in-law that the family could have ever had. In the midst of love and betrayal, many unpredicted twists are thrown in, that neither take you by surprise nor help sustain your interest. Before long, cracks begin to be seen in Ransh’s character. After a frolicsome outing on their honeymoon, Ransh throws Sarah off the cliff and thus begins a sordid tale of suspicion, distrust, obsession, greed and treachery. What unfolds before you are many scenes from Baazigar that give you a sense of déjà vu, and from then on the film is on its downhill. Johnny Lever acts as a policeman here, and other characters also appear and disappear as the writing hinges on the so-called star charisma of Mustafa. And that is the major drawback that makes Abbas-Mustan’s Machine a trite overwritten drama.
